From 2010 to 2012 William Hall was Design Director at Phaidon Press (working opposite the Switzerland-based Design Director, Julia Hasting). Phaidon are arguably the world's preeminent art, architecture, and cookery publisher.
Responsibilities included commissioning and briefing designers, art directing books, collectors' editions and digital projects, and overseeing design issues on foreign and co-editions.
